C&L FAQ

What is a deductible?
A deductible is the amount of a covered loss that you pay out of pocket. Two types of auto coverage carry deductibles: collision and comprehensive. The most common deductible is $500, but the amount can vary depending our your selection at the time you took out the coverage on your vehicle.
When do I pay my deductible to the shop?
Your deductible will be owed to the shop AFTER your vehicle has been repaired and you have had a chance to review the vehicle for satisfaction.
Will my Insurance Premium increase if I file a claim?
Unfortunately, due to the various different ways each insurance company rates their customer’s policies, there is no clear way to know if your insurance premium will increase due to filing a claim. In general, when you make a claim against your insurance policy above a specific amount due to an incident that is primarily your fault, an insurer will increase your premium by a certain percentage.
How long will my repairs take to my vehicle?
Given the varying degree of damages in each specific repair, it is impossible to accurately convey general timeframe for your vehicle’s repairs without going through the entire blue printing process. Due to the current disruption to the supply chain with many parts manufactures, the industry average for repair cycle time has increased to around 16 days. The good news: our lean processes and efficiencies in our operation has historically cut down our cycle time to an average of 4 to 5 days below industry average! Rest assured, our team tirelessly works everyday to ensure your vehicle go through the repair process with as little down time as possible, all while ensuring you are kept informed along the way!
